Furthermore Garner provides management of operator scheduling; vacation and fill-in operators; rigging equipment including straps, chokers, and chains; life cycle oversight; safety plans; documented equipment inspection, and general oversight of the operators. Garner operators are covered under our general liability insurance including an additional benefit of "on hook coverage" for anything in our care, custody or control. Garner Construction has a large pool of highly skilled union operators enabling us to guarantee quality of service and match the right operator with the right job. Garner can provide specially qualified operators for high rise construction, structural steel erection, and rail mounted tower cranes. Garner has qualified operators for older equipment like friction clutch operated conventional cranes that can be difficult to man. Garner routinely provides hourly union riggers qualified to run forklifts and hydraulic cranes that don't justify a full time operator.
